Kingsley School has launched the 'Earth Centre', a unique and exciting ongoing project for all pupils at school. In response to the challenges of our time, the Earth Centre puts the natural world and environmental sustainability at the core of education. Educational immersion in the Earth Centre raises ecological awareness, asks the right questions and develops the future leaders and practitioners that we need for the next 100 years to be a success for humankind.
At the Earth Centre, ecology sits alongside numeracy and literacy as an equal part of the learning framework. Study at the Earth Centre involves a focus on “learning by doing” with work experience and practical field work at the core of study.
