Academic rigour is foundational at Thames and in 2021, pupils delivered a strong set of GCSE results with 29% of grades at grade 9, 70% at 9-7 and 99% at 9-4. However staff are passionate about far more than this. They enjoy seeing young people understand their value, learn to honour and encourage others and contribute to the wider school community. Thames has just moved to brand new purpose-built premises close to Clapham Junction with a sixth form planned for September 2023.

Thames Christian School is an Independent coeducational secondary school with small classes, high expectations and a committed staff team. Each pupil is valued as a unique and gifted individual. Pupils achieve highly in their GCSE results and co-curricular activities and gain entry to a wide range of top independent and state sixth forms.
Located a few minutes walk from Clapham Junction the school is accessible from a wide area of London and the surrounding counties. From September 2020 the school will be accommodated in a new purpose-built facility with a three stream entry and sixth form.
Thames is a mainstream independent school with recognised provision for a small number of pupils with mild to moderate specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia or Asperger Syndrome. We recognise that these pupils can be extremely gifted. If your child has Special Educational Needs you may make an appointment for an informal discussion with the SENDCO.
