The school offers a structured and integrated approach to support pupils with EAL, learning difficulties and/or disabilities. Pupils with identified difficulties are set clear targets which are shared with all teaching staff. Some pupils are offered small group work in order to cater to their specific needs. Where appropriate, the Study Support Department can support pupils on an individual basis for a given period of time. We also offer reduced programmes of study in Years 8 and 9 so those with particular difficulties have the opportunity to strengthen key skills before they start their GCSE courses.
Bursaries may be awarded to children whose parents have limited means. They are usually granted annually and reviewed every Spring Term for the following school year. Applications are only accepted from current parents or those registered for admission. For further information, please read our Bursary Application Process Document.
