Eltham College is an independent, co-educational day school located in south east London. We accept boys and girls from the age of 7 into our Junior School up to the age of 11. They then transfer into the Senior School at the age of 11 when they are joined by external students who are successful in the entrance examination.

Scholarships 
Academic, Music, Sport, Drama and Art Scholarships are awarded at 11+, 13+ and 16+ to students who display particular talent or potential in one, or more, of these areas. Scholarships can be supplemented by means-tested bursaries.  
 
Bursaries 
Bursaries are awarded depending on family circumstance and academic performance, as shown in the entrance test. In the previous financial year the school provided financial help to 316 students (total roll 908). 
 
Year 7 – 4 bursaries, 32 scholarships 
Year 8 – 13 bursaries, 37 scholarships 
Year 9 – 12 bursaries, 44 scholarships 
Year 10 – 9 bursaries, 40 scholarships 
Year 11 – 6 bursaries, 19 scholarships 
Lower Sixth – 6 bursaries, 52 scholarships 
Upper Sixth – 9 bursaries, 55 scholarships 
 
There are specific hardship funds for which parents may be eligible, dependent upon meeting specific criteria. These include the French Huguenot Church of London Charitable Trust which supports families with (French) Protestant connections. In the past beneficiaries of this Trust have included the sons of Anglican clergy or Protestant church workers. In addition, the Milton Mount Foundation supports children associated with the United Reformed Church and Congregational Churches. A separate application must be completed to apply for these funds.
