Westminster School is committed to making its unique style of education available to those, who would benefit most from all that it has to offer, irrespective of background or financial position. Academic and Music Scholarships are available and an application for a means-tested bursary may be made for any pupil, who has satisfied the School’s academic entry requirements. Bursaries can cover up to 100% of the fee; when a full bursary is awarded, it will cover the cost of uniform, books and compulsory school trips in addition to the fee itself. The School currently spends in excess of £2m annually on fee assistance, with some 5% of pupils currently receiving full fee assistance and 12% receiving assistance with part of the fee. In October 2018 the School launched the Westminster School Campaign, with the ambitious target of endowing funds to allow the School to become entirely needs blind. The Campaign is a bold statement of the School’s firm commitment in making an outstanding education available to young people who show exceptional academic ability, passion and potential for learning, regardless of their financial circumstances.
