Principle: Scholarships provide opportunities for talented individuals, predominantly but not exclusively, on the Isle of Wight to attend Ryde School. Their involvement with the School will develop their own skills and also enrich the student body in key areas of the School. No scholarship attracts a direct fee discount but being a scholar allows access to up to 90% means-tested bursaries. In addition to full scholarships, exhibitions may be awarded. These awards, however, only have limited bursary support.
Scholarships are available for entry into Years 5, 7, 9 and the Sixth Form. Academic Scholarships are available for entry into Year 5 and Academic, Sports, Music, The Arts, General and Sailing Scholarships are available for entry into Years 7, 9 and the Sixth Form.
