Berkhamsted School

Berkhamsted’s innovative ‘diamond’ structure comprises its Prep and Pre-Prep School (DfE no 919/6227) and Berkhamsted Senior School (DfE no 919/6005). Boys and girls are taught together at Pre-Prep (Haresfoot site) to age 7 and at Prep (Doctors Commons Road site) to age 11. The children are then taught separately from 11-16 at Berkhamsted Boys and Berkhamsted Girls (with joint trips, co- and extra-curricular activities), before coming back together again at the co-educational Berkhamsted Sixth.
