APS occupies two residential suburban sites. The Prep School, Years 3 to 6 (Marlborough Road) occupies purpose built accommodation (with its own playing field), whilst the Pre-Prep (Nursery to Y2) are housed at Highbury & Bank Place, some 800 metres away. The school has approximately 320 boys and it feeds primarily into Manchester Grammar & Altrincham Grammar Schools as well as the other maintained and independent schools.
