Each year, we offer a large number of transformational means-tested bursaries to bright, deserving Senior School pupils who would benefit from a Brentwood education but whose parents cannot afford the full fees. This is in accordance with the School’s charitable purpose.

Parents who wish to apply for a bursary provide full information about the family’s financial circumstances, with supporting documentation. The school uses an independent company, Bursary Administration Ltd (BAL), to review and assess bursary applications.

All pupils receiving a scholarship or a bursary must demonstrate strong potential academically or in a specialist area (Music, Drama, Dance, Sport, Chess or Art). On average, one fifth of our Senior School pupils receive such assistance.
