Caldicott welcomed the first recipients of the Hitchin Scholarship in September 2022, and subsequently won Talk Education's Award for Best Bursary Provision.
The Hitchin Scholarship welcomes applicants from a range of backgrounds, who in addition to being academically able, offer their creative or sporting talent to enrich the school community.
Up to five part or fully-funded 11+ places are available to boys who would join as boarders in Year 7 and stay on until the end of Year 8. Moreover, the opportunities provided by the Hitchin Scholarship will not stop after the boys’ time at Caldicott until the end of Year 8, but will be extended all the way until they’re 18, at some of the top public schools in the UK.
