ISC chairman Barnaby Lenon wishes all Year 11 pupils well as they receive their grades, after what has been a challenging period for school communities across the country.
The ISC chairman said: "The past five months have been unsettling for all pupils, particularly those awaiting their Year 13 and – today – Year 11 results. Each one deserves immense credit for having had to deal with the unhelpful confusion around grades at what is already an anxious time.
"While the system that was eventually put in place is far from perfect, we hope it enables young people to move on to the next stage in their lives with confidence. We wish today’s Year 11 pupils the very best as they receive their results."
